Bio: His primary responsibility is to increase PPG’s value as a resource for sustainable design professionals by identifying new trends and opportunities, and translating them into new products and services for green construction and design. A 17-year environmental, health and safety veteran, James has extensive experience in environmental project management, marketing and sales, and safety product management for companies such as L. Robert Kimball & Associates, Inc. and Draeger Safety, Inc. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in environmental science and environmental management, respectively. James is also a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) through the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice (IPEP).
Bio: Jeremy A. Verstraete is product manager for the United States Gypsum Company’s acoustical ceilings product line. He joined United States Gypsum Company in August 2005. Prior to his current role, Verstraete served as FIBEROCK Product Manager and Tile & Flooring Segment Marketing Manager in the Chicago office. In this position, Verstraete is responsible for portfolio management, coordination of activities between research and manufacturing, and providing technical support and training for the acoustical ceilings product line.
Bio: Dave Hales is National Sales Manager for VaproShield LLC. He has over 18 years of experience in the vapor permeable building membrane industry. He has worked with United States, Canadian and UK testing agencies in the areas of breathable membrane technology, air barriers and code change. As National Sales Manager Dave’s primary responsibility is to coordinate with over 40 reps throughout the United States and educate architects on the importance of breathable buildings.
